When Darkness Falls
Every night when darkness falls
The light turns off, the volume down
I find my bed an try to sleep
With two of your friendship bears
And a scarf that smells like you
When they tell me they know what missing is
And about someone they won’t see again
Because I don’t believe in heaven
I tell them I miss a part of my family
That I can see again
Only if I have enough money
But because of lack of it
I will have to wait till who knows when
Before I’ll see them again
