Time to go to bed and close my eyes.
My soul runs through stars all the way up to heaven.
An angel comes out and I see it's you.
You come close, look deep into my eyes.
I ask you why.
You put your finger on my lips.
Your sweet voice is telling me to be quiet.
You take me to a cloud where we're sitting on, looking down
on everyone that sleeps, everyone that dreams.
I see other people running to heaven, they miss somebody too.
I see how other people walk back down.
They kiss their love goodbye and go back to bed where a new day will arrive soon.
I look at you, hoping you ask me to stay, you say it's time.
You lift me up, hold me in your arms and you kiss me goodbye.
I step off that cloud and before I go back to my sleeping body I turn around, look back and I see you standing,
you watch every step I take just to make sure I'm save.
And when I'm ready to start a new day, you go back to heaven and wait for the next night I come back.
I open my eyes and look to the ceiling.
