the definition of a stranger
a glass full of his own saliva in his hands, he gives another glass to her
-spit your saliva in the glass, now spit some more, spit spit!
Now drink it
-I don’t want to drink it, it is disgusting, if I have to I will puke
-drink mine then
-are you insane
that is how we became strangers
you are my brother, I am your sister, and when we were small we swallowed everything from eachother, but you left and found other interests and now you come back with a glass full of your saliva and I just can’t swallow it, I even cannot swallow a glass of my own saliva
then ten men in white jackets are coming close, taking samples from the glass as in a laboratory, measuring, making notes, taking temperature from the glass
-I am not a statistic
maybe I am a stranger to you, but don’t make me acceptable by making me a statistic, I prefer to be a mystery, that is something romantic
-who are you?
I am a reproductive structure that adapted for dispersal and surviving for extended periods of time in unfavorable conditions. I am part of the life cycle and very hardened to radiation.
I have very little stored food resources compared with seeds.
But as I said before, I adapted.
If I adapt to you, you will consider me no more a stranger, is it?
