Flames like dying flowers

A love/ hate story based on what Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks share (Fleetwood Mac style)

Into the darkness of an all consuming fire

We went

And the flames were dancing around us like dying flowers

in a field without a moon and stars at the almighty night sky

We lay

Next to each other

Thousand miles apart

As it always was

He opens his mouth

Doesn’t speak with words

He feels what he says

She laughs

Doesn’t speak with words

She feels with her soul

Undeniable damned connection

Cursed or blessed

Or worse

Both

Laughing together

Crying together

But thousand miles apart

As it should be, shouldn’t it?

Do not want to make you sad

Or confused

‘Cause that’s what you do

Don’t want us fighting

We make eachother depressed

Sometimes

Hate it

He opens his mouth

Doesn’t speak with words

He feels what he says

She laughs

Doesn’t speak with words

She feels with her soul

And now the fire curses us

Not with words, but with deeds

Our hair falls out

Our mouth become toothless

We fall into the darkness

The wind blew the flames out

And rain pours suddenly out the sky

And with the rain you’re washed away

He opens his mouth

Doesn’t speak with words

He feels what he says

She laughs

Doesn’t speak with words

She feels with her soul

And with the wind I’m blown away

‘Till next time

We whisper

And grin
